JR HEFFNER PULLING DOUBLE DUTY AT ELDORA SPEEDWAY
Albany, NY, June 26, 2016– Local area racer JR Heffner will return to Eldora Speedway in Ohio for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on July 20th. He will also compete in the Super Dirt Car Big Block Modified program as well. JR has raced before at the acclaimed track and is ready to get back and race head to head with both NASCAR and the Super Dirt Series’ best teams.

Our team has always looked for a challenge in motorsports, to be able to compete against the best dirt racers in the country on the fastest tracks in the Northeast tests us every week. To also go out to Ohio and race against the best NASCAR truck drivers and the drivers of the Super Dirt Series is a huge challenge, but one I feel we are ready for.”

During the 4th annual NASCAR Camping World Series truck race his entry will be the number 44 Chevrolet Silverado the team owns. JR will partner with Martin Motorsports, a regular season truck team for logistics and operations. Current Modified race team partners A Colarusso & Sons and Park East Sales will join the truck program on the trip to Ohio, but the team is open to work with partners who are looking for marketing opportunities with National reach and scale.
During the Super Dirt Car events, JR will pilot the Upstate Utilities #74 Big Block Modified. This is his weekly Malta entry and will use Eldora to strengthen and build on the newly formed team led by Steve Hart.
JR Heffner Racing is a New York based race team that races Big Block Modified’s at Albany Saratoga Speedway in Malta NY, and both Big Block and Small Block Modified’s at Lebanon Valley Speedway in Lebanon, NY, halfway between Albany and Pittsfield. Massachusetts. JR has won 4 track Championships, is a 3 time Mr. Dirt Track USA, and has won the Hagerstown 350 twice. He has competed in the ARCA racing series and raced at tracks such as Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Super Speedway, Kentucky, Chicago and New Hampshire Speedways.
